Live Botanical Aer First Light Brightening Serum

New Release!!

A robust blend of highly nutritive plants rich in antioxidants including vitamins A, B, E, K plus a maximum 10% dilution of a Vitamin C ester. Together they support common skin concerns around fine-lines and damage caused by the sun and acne.  To be used as an eye serum and spot treatment for discoloration.

Developed for most skin types including sensitive, acne prone and mature. An oil based formula that applies a plant based methodology with a couple modern twists:

Squalane, a non-comedogenic emollient provides a protective barrier that hydrates the skin to soften the appearances fine lines. It absorbs quickly to provide a velvety finish. The squalane used is non-GMO and sustainably sourced from plant sugars.

Regionally sourced, cold pressed, non-GMO Cranberry Seed Oil is one of the most abundant sources of polyphenols such as tocopherols and tocotrienols (Vitamin E) which improve firmness and elasticity. Has the perfect ratio of omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids meaning it’s better at absorption to deliver all its skin loving properties.

Cold pressed, organic Rice Bran Oil is a natural source of peptides, ferulic acid, CoQ10, vitamins A and B, in addition to a range of antioxidants such as tocopherol, tocotrienol, and oryzanol. Together they repair lipid barrier damage and protect the skin from free radicals.

The key modern element comes from a maximum 10% concentration of Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, a form of vitamin C that is suitable for sensitive skin. Coupled with vitamin E and ferulic acid in the overall formula, the bioavailability is measurably increased to improve clarifying and protective benefits.

Organic, fresh and locally grown Calendula flower infused in organic Apricot Kernel oil protects skin from free radicals, reducing inflammation for more acne prone skin. It increases circulation to help with puffiness and dark circles as an eye serum and reduce scarring as a spot treatment.

Supercritical extract of organic Rose-hip and Seaberry fruit has astringent properties to tighten and firm the skin. Extremely rich in carotenoids, a vitamin A precursor to enhance a healthy glow.

Protective regionally sourced organic Raspberry Seed is also rich in carotenoids and vitamin E. The antioxidant profile is especially effective at calming reactive, sun parched and inflamed conditions.

Organic Carrot root extract and cold pressed carrot oil has a complex and dense nutritious makeup to improve overall skin vitality.

A small amount of Benzoin resin creates a protective layer on the skin, preventing moisture loss and aids in strengthening for a more toned appearance.

Stored in 10 ml miron (violet) glass to maintain potency of plant compounds. The ball roller is made of glass as well (not plastic or metal).

Ritual: Roll a thin layer under eyes, across forehead, laugh lines and any areas of discoloration. Gently massage and press to assist absorption. For best results apply day and night after cleansing, toning and water based serums. Follow up with your favorite face oil.

From Founder Carolynn about Living Responsibly:

To Live Responsible - Both environmental and social responsibility are value statements we hold dear in every decision made from sourcing, formulating, packaging to delivering.

  • Sourcing follows strict guidelines such as ingredients not obtained regionally are fair trade certified (when applicable).

  • If organic is not an option, we work with producers who follow organic guidelines or ethically wild-harvested using rules outlined by United Plant Savers.

  • Oils, butters and waxes must be GMO free and unrefined or minimally refined depending on formulation requirements.

  • Preservatives and lab based ingredients are researched extensively for environmental impact and personal safety. Ingredients must be  biodegradable and molecule sizes are large enough to not be readily absorbed in the top layers of the skin.

  • We never test on animals or use animal based ingredients. We do use bee products which come from local bee keepers who are stewards to their livelihood.

  • We try to be transparent as much as possible.  You're welcome to contact us anytime for more information on ingredients and formulas.

  • We give back to those whos land we live on. Supporting both Indigenous Peoples and environmental stewardship efforts. Current donations (reciprocity & reparations) include Chinook Nation and the Wild Salom Center.
